at this stage of bhops career ward would easily beat him. plus it will be a super boring fight so what on earth is the point to this fight anyway

And I can't believe you threw in Abraham and Groves. Can't imagine easier fights for old man Hopkins than those.
He's skating in a very weak division. He lost clearly to the division's best in Dawson and Dawson gets wrecked by Ward. The real iron is at 168 and Bhop isn't going there. I respect Hopkins but at the same time, I see through his con. He had a very soft run at 160 and really fought many small, half-assed guys. He really only fights guys he can exploit. He took his shot with Calzaghe and Dawson and lost but usually he has guys in front of him that have glaring issues. What's the best middleweight win? Trinidad, then who? Oscar, Echols come on? I've always maintained he is a superior manager than he is a fighter. His career navigation has been nothing short of shear genius.

laughable post. Name five active fighters who have done more than Hopkins.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm not saying he's a 5 -50 fighter, just saying his career navigation has been impeccable. I don't think Hopkins would have beaten a quarter of the fighters Hagler beat in his title defenses.

So you can't name five active fighters can you? Pretty damn telling you have to bring up the greatest MW of all time in Hagler (and obviously not even you truly believe Hopkins couldn't beat a quarter of the guys on his resume).

Geez the Hopkins hate is ripe still, give the guy a break.. Two days ago people thought cloud was a 50-50 fight .. The guy is breaking records morons and if he beats cleverly that will be another amazing feat..

This guys career is surpassing some of the greatest boxers that ever lived and you guys still *****

The man isn't fighting Ward and Ward doesn't even want to fight Hopkins, wasn't there an article recently stating that Ward hopes Tavoris wins so he can get a big fight at light heavy because he had no plans of fighting Bhop
