That's non sense Thurman is a solid welterweight and he showed that tonight. Berto stopped Zaveck on cuts lets not forget as Zaveck more than likely would have stopped Berto later in the fight.

Thurman hopefully faces the winner out of Alexander/Brook for the IBF as Haymon won't make a Thurman/Broner should Broner beat Paulie for the WBA.

Thurman showed me nothing tonight other than he throws hard, but he couldn't take this guy out, who Berto cut to shreds and stopped.
Berto opened those cuts with headbutts, clearly shown on replay, and that fight was dead even at the time of the stoppage. You're talking a lot of nonsense.

sometimes a guy ust won't go, as was the case KT, 4 the mental part knowing he can do this;bad in that he may have pushed himself further away from Alvarez who probably wants no part of him, rather the pillow punchers like Trout...Alvarez has ways 2 avoid his top 5 w/WBC permission...

I would like to see Berto vs Thurman next why not? Easy fight to make for the promotors.

That's an odd observation. Are you trolling?

Thurman was impressive and fought the right fight. The person who recommended Abregu next, that's great suggestion. Getting rounds in is the most valuable thing at this point, and I like that when Zavec cracked him he always gave a good answer back, like my favorite fighter Erik Morales.

He should fight Palo Caesar Cano, Abregu, or another tough guy next, and then look for a fight with someone like Berto.

Don't want to rush it, but he looks ready.

No, not at all. Thurman is a lot stronger at 154. Thurman got buzzed a couple of times last night, those shots wouldn't have fased him at all at 154. He's draining himself at welterweight. If this fight was at super welterweight Zaveck would have been knocked out. Most of Thurman's career has been at 154, that's his best weight class.
