You seriously know styles make fights right, you basically answered it with Counter Puncher, when two counter punchers get in the ring its a horrible style match up, JMM lost that fight because he fought out of his comfort zone, JMM is not a complete fighter, I never said he was, others overrate him I don't. He is best known for giving Pacquiao hell and knocking him out.

He doesn't have great defense at all, doesn't know how to clinch or double guard block, he is what he is a matador counter puncher.

JMM was forced to come forward against Floyd and that is why he was at a disadvantage because Floyd will stink the joint out, Floyd knows if he pressed Marquez he would get lit up with counters so he forced JMM to come to him.

I could accept that if you didn't come in here claiming Marquez has a case for being the greatest combination puncher in history. He's not. There are a number of fighters clearly ahead of him. Two of which I have mentioned. When you hype him unnecessarily it raises the bar for what to expect from him.
