Nobody is angry here, son. No need to embellish things. You made incredibly ignorant comments about Ray Leonard. Own up to them or back them up. Or you can continue to spout insults and gibberish that does nothing to support anything you've said. Of courseI know who Ricardo Lopez is. Don't be silly. He was a better fighter than Marquez. I think Marquez is really getting overrated after the last Pacquiao fight. But that doesn't erase Marquez putrid performance aginst Mayweather. He didn't even win a round. That shouldn't happen to the so called greatest counter puncher in history. It would not have happened to Leonard or Napoles. You can bet your life on that.

Wrong. I don't have a problem with Finito. I don't think he was the greatest but he belongs in the discussion before Marquez. I never said you weren't a fan. I said you don't know a damn thing about Ray Leonard or Jose Napoles style. Everything you said about him backs that up. When you claim Leonard was not a power combo puncher it reeks of ignorance.

I love how El Manos brings up Mayweather-Marquez when Marquez hasn't been in his prime for almost damn near a decade. He's on top of this sport pure IQ alone.

I can say the same about Leonard-Norris but you would say that wasn't fair huh?

If you think Leonard-Norris and Mayweather-Marquez are comparable then once again, I'm talking to a moron.

              LOL

So you are knocking Marquez for not even being able to win against Floyd? You seriously know styles make fights right, you basically answered it with Counter Puncher, when two counter punchers get in the ring its a horrible style match up, JMM lost that fight because he fought out of his comfort zone, JMM is not a complete fighter, I never said he was, others overrate him I don't. He is best known for giving Pacquiao hell and knocking him out.

He doesn't have great defense at all, doesn't know how to clinch or double guard block, he is what he is a matador counter puncher.

JMM was forced to come forward against Floyd and that is why he was at a disadvantage because Floyd will stink the joint out, Floyd knows if he pressed Marquez he would get lit up with counters so he forced JMM to come to him.

JMM does so well against Manny because Manny comes forward and it plays into JMM's back step counter punch game.

Please stop already. I am a Ray leonard fan but your fanaticism is extreme.

Ray is one of the greatest.

I'm not saying the circumstances are comparable. I'm saying why are you bringing it up? Marquez was 36 years old moving up to a weight class he's never been to before to fight one of the best fighters in the world.

Fair enough. I can walk away agreeing to disagree on Leonard or Jose Napoles.

Did Leonard sneak a fight IN the last 10 years??? I don't think so...............maybe another "draw" with Tommy? Against Tyson?

                    Shane was good
                    Floyd also
                    I like Zab
Manny too, they just don't look that pretty HA!
To me there hasn't been any really outstanding fighters in a long time. Theres always talented guys and even high skill men but great fighters are very rare! On this forum the word "great" has a different meaning, on here great means "very good"! Ray

I could accept that if you didn't come in here claiming Marquez has a case for being the greatest combination puncher in history. He's not. There are a number of fighters clearly ahead of him. Two of which I have mentioned. When you hype him unnecessarily it raises the bar for what to expect from him.
