Is this a joke question? He's past prime, just got KTFO, and he is nearing the end of his career. Why wouldn't HBO want to build a new star?

So is Pacquiao suppose to fight forever?

Time for something younger and NEW is what HBO is probably thinking because Pacquiao can't fight forever...I think HBO really wanted Donaire to be their next star and he is still in their plans I am sure but unfortunately he is in a Division the Casual Fans (The Fans That Really Spend Money On Tickets And PPV's) don't give a **** about, anything under 140 is just not that much of a draw

147 is where all of the Casual Fans attention are because of Pacquiao and Mayweather so I think that is why they (HBO) want Broner to jump to 147

Sorry but Boxing won't stop for Pacquiao or Mayweather, once they are done it will be on to the next group of Boxers

Pacquiao's future is uncertain after the ko. And even if he comes back and does well who knows how long that will last. You always gotta look for the next big thing regardless im sure HBO was already looking before Mayweather left both him and Pacquiao are getting to the end of their careers.
