So I like the stomps, soccer kicks elbows knees and haymaker punches in MMA

I also like boxing theres nothing quite like watching a mike tyson KO highlight.

If I invented a new sport it would be all headbutts, knees elbows, punches, kicks, head stomps etc so like old school MMA except no wrestling or submissions or even clinching would be allowed (if you start that you will get broken up and stood up after a few seconds like in K1, and then u can start smashing each other up again)

I think ive captured what people want to see pretty well what do you think?

I could care less to watch two grown men wrestle or kick each other. Give me the sweet science all day everyday.

Sloppy hayemakers worse than The Hayemaker.

I used to enjoy watching this from time to time..

      Oh yeah I prefer Boxing.

I can't stand watching more than 30 secs of guys on the floor sometimes, last match I watched was probably the Diaz vs Henderson.

What you've 'captured' there sounds like violence to me, not sport.

          The sport of violence perhaps?

I enjoy Bellator more than UFC because they hire strikers way more than UFC.. But boxing brings to me the punch aggression I want to see. So for me Boxing > MMA

Do you not think that it's seems a bit redundant to be on a boxing forum asking do you prefer MMA or Boxing!?

MMA has gotten boring to me, I used to watch it all the time and now it seems so boring. Boxing is a sport I never get tired of, I always laugh at those MMA fan boys who barely started watching fighting when UFC came on ****e tv, and they love to bash boxing, they say UFC is tearing it up well UFC is not doing that great in America anymore since they had to add Female MMA just to try and gain interest, and Ronda Rousey did 500k ppv buys, which isn't amazing but they are good numbers and the saddest part is she out did their top champions recently on their ppv buys. The UFC ppv buys were lower 400, 300, 200 k buys they haven't broke a million since Brock Lesnars last fight.

My preference is Boxing, but I do enjoy MMA as well.

How is it MMA if you remove clinching/grappling/submissions from the equation?

So people can't just be fans of both? Because I Am! And I know I am not the only one!

I don't get into the whole "Boxing vs MMA" BS, I watch boxing just as much as I watch MMA, when Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, Ben Henderson, Demetrius Johnson, Cain Velazquez and GSP are fighting in the Mainevent....I WATCH! Sure some of them have boring styles like Chael Sonnen who just wants to lay on top of people because he sucks at striking/stand up then yeah that is when MMA gets very boring

So I am proudly a fan of BOTH and I respect the hard work both Boxers and MMA fighters put in to be the best at what they do...ironically I was just Watching Anderson Silva's Documentary on Netflix "Like Water" GREAT Documentary!
