Garcia and his pupil were entering the biggest fight of there career. why would they mess that up with dirty tactics? Ortiz is a fool for falsifying the whole story.

He needs to grow the f@#$ up and embrace his mistakes like a man.

I think it was all Ortiz decision to headbutt. I don't buy the 16 elbows. I think he was just having a hard time hitting Mayweather and fouled out of frustration.

Yeah I don't know what to believe. Post-fight he said accident. Then in another interview he said he was trying to break Floyd's nose and he would do it again. Now his trainer told him to do it. He may be having trouble coping with the way that night played out.

In that contest, Ortiz infamously head butted Mayweather along the ropes in the fourth round, causing him to lose a point from referee Joe Cortez.

Moments later, after the action had been called back into play, Ortiz attempted to make peace with Mayweather by giving him an embrace. Mayweather accepted, only to catch an unsuspecting Ortiz with a left-right combination that floored him and ended the fight.

Ortiz is always full of sh.t every time he opens his mouth. If his eye was closing it was because of those straight right hands that Mayweather was nailing him with. I saw tha fight several times and not once did I see Mayweather hit him wth an elbow. Mayweather used his forearm to push Ortiz away, and that is not illegal nor is it any different that a fighter using his gloves to push someone away. Also, if my opponent hit me with 16 elbows like Ortiz claims, I damn sure wouldn't apologize for hitting him with a headbutt and then leave my hands down so that he could hit me at will.
