In Ireland we called it St. Stephen's Day. The only connection I can think of to do with boxing is that there may have been bix boxing exhivbb=bitions on that day, or another connection might be something different altogether like getting christmas boxes. That's what we call Christams presents, all the boxes under the trees that i've seen and read about.

Anyway, my real answer is that I don't know why.

Anybody who feels ****** is obviously smart enough to tell the difference so he isn't really ******. A type of conundrum.

Boxing Day is the day where we all admire the shape, invention and construction of the box.
