I will give him his props, though. He's made some big UK-level fights happen, like Groves-DeGale, Katsidis-Mitchell/Burns and Chisora-Fury/Haye, but in the end the problem with his fighters in the long-term always seems to come down to money. Either he's crap at managing the wonga, or his stable invariably has a shelf-life for young fighters until they need to hop over to bigger promoters with better resources.

Well now we know why Vazquez REALLY pulled out of the fight. Then us fans get blamed for questioning injuries and doctor notes. This is the reason why I didn't buy the whole Garcia injury especially when he showed a pic without his face on it.

For all you guys wanting a Broner showdown,(me included), it will happen if he ends up at matchroom and if you don't know that already you haven't been paying attention to Matchroom and Eddie Hearn, they are very different to Frank Warren promotins. Burns will have one or two fights but don't worry, I see the Broner vs Burns fight happening unless Broner moves to 140/147

I just had a thought, I wonder if GBP UK are sniffing around Burns? They are setting up in the UK and need talent, picking up thr Rickster would be a smart move on their part and like Matchroom, they will put the Broner fight together.

At this rate Frank won't have any fighters left for his own TV channel. The man has lost track of how to promote and is no longer the driving force behind British boxing. Eddie Hearn is younger, fresher and more willing to make the big fights happen.

Hearn needs to sign Burns ASAP, get him a fight ASAP so he can be mentally and physically ready for a summer showdown with Broner (I just don't think May is realistic enough). My main worry is Burns will be held up in a legal dispute and unable to fight. Similar situations have led to many fighters stagnating in the past.
