Why the Garcia hate??

I really don't understand the hate this kid gets??It really bothers me that this kid does not get any credit..

I mean,he fought a very experienced fighter in Morales when he was still very green..He left no doubt(although I did feel the fight was close),he fought Khan..I really felt he was not ready to be in the ring with Khan at that point,he proved me wrong,oh and left no doubt..He completely destroyed Morales in the rematch(might have been a top 5 KO of last yr)..

Oh and btw the kid is 24 yrs of age and has only 25 pro bouts..

Yet I here people just tear into how undeserving how garbage and how ordinary he is..I've even heard people say that Matt's is the best in his(Garcia's)div..While Danny has the ring belt..I mean is this crap serious??

I think his dad has something to do with it in some cases. I don't dislike Danny, I just am not all that excited yet. Two wins over a totally shot Morales mean nothing to me. The KO over Khan was nice, but I want him to face another top JWW in his prime. That means Matthysse-Peterson winner.

I have no idea but after he dismantled khan in the fashion he did I will be tuning in whenever he fights. He is not great at one thing BUT he has a devastating hook and a pretty good chin. I did not realize he was only 24 which makes him even more impressive.

It's his dad mainly... Danny doesn't get that much hate around here. Floyd and Broner get 10x more hate then Danny get's.



Most of the hate stemmed from this video. In this video Danny makes it seem like he doesn't want to fight Rios or Matthysse.

I think it has a lot to do with him looking really good in his past two fights, but against guys you'd figure would get knocked out. But, I don't see him getting that much hate. Nothing like Mayweather, Chavez jr. and Broner.

Maybe because he's from Philly, or maybe because he's from Puerto Rican bloodlines. I don't know, but I do know that he won't be easy to defeat by anyone & I for 1 thank him for ending the Khan/Mayweather hype. Although the Floyd fans immediately started hyping canelo. So I guess it was a lesser evil before, lol.

Not trying to beat a dead horse but like everyone else says, mostly it's because of his father. I personally don't care for what Angel has to say but Danny has worked for everything he got. Yes, he received chances earlier than others, him being a Haymon fighter, but he capitalized on them, you can't hate him for that. He's not fast, he's not good on his feet, but he has a solid chin, good timing, good power, and decent ring IQ, he's only 24 and he's still learning. His body work goes unnoticed. He mixes it up well also.

Well this post demonstrates why people would hate.

"Experience fighter in Morales" = In reality he was a completely washed up old fighter, who in reality wasnt even top 20 in the division with a Maidana loss and Cano win. And he fought him 2X.

Khan was a great win, he was a top guy in the division and Khan cherry picked him as what he thought was an easy opponent. But he gets way too much credit for Khan. Khan was coming off a loss and was not the top guy anymore, Peterson was, yet he somehow became the "Ring champ" facing the #3 ranked guy. He is not the lineal champ, yet people still think he is. Beating certain fighter gives guys too much credit, I mean if someone beats Khan right now, people will say "he's ranked #2", which is laughable considering he's lost 2 str8. Pac got bumped down to #4 at WW after losing to the 2 best in the world, yet Khan is #2?

Also people base things on skill and I including many dont see Danny as the most skilled guy in the division, he is rather basic, winning all his fights by outworking older fighters and catching a chinless Khan

He's still a top fighter but he is no better then peterson or Lucas, no matter how many manufactured belts he won

I don't have nothing against danny garcia, but his dad is such an ******* lol. danny actually seems like a humble kid and with that killer left hook it's hard to hate on him.
