this fight almost certainly won't end up happening. it would be an awesome fight for boxing fans.

canelo has some technical ability in addition to his power. martinez has the style and he does have power. and though he's slowed some, he's still got enough speed to give canelo issues. southpaw, too.

martinez on points. perhaps a late knockout.

Then I should take a famous line from Bob Arum and say "that's not a serious offer".. LOL

I'm from Argentina. Sergio is making a lot of money fighting bums here in Argentina! Maybe is to soon, but forget Sergio fighting in Vegas again! Most expensive ticket against Macklin: U$S 505 (Madison Square Garden Theater, between 2000 and 5600 seats). Most expensive ticket against Murray: U$S 987 (official US dollar), U$S 640 (US parallel dollar), (Velez Sarfield Stadium 40000 seats).

Leave the cat weight clause up to manny pacquiao if Canelo wants a shot at the champ then he has to find him and that's at 160 lbs. I don't think that should be an issue for Canelo he could easily go to 160 it would be better for him he'll probabaly be stronger.

                      it's just a machismo thing.

Martinez's team is probably thinking this

why would Martinez run down to 154 like a dog to fight Canelo just because Canelo says so. who is Canelo? what has he done in boxing? nothing really, he hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse. so who is he to make a p4p fighter do what he wants. Canelo's a draw but proven nothing

Mayweather can because he's the p4p king.

I highly doubt Martinez is worried about Canelo and we all know Canelo was never serious about Martinez. he's been dropping his name for a few fights now. it's not like Martinez is hard to find.
