Comments Thread For: Adamek Says Next Fight Will Not Happen in Poland

Former light heavyweight and cruiserweight world champion Tomasz Adamek (48-2, 29 KOs) has revealed that his next fight probably will be staged in the United States. Recently the New Jersey-based fighter withdrew from a final IBF heavyweight eliminator bout with Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev (17-0, 9 KOs) explaining that he has an opportunity to secure a much more profitable fight in his domestic Poland. However, it seems that the plans misfired.

Yup, saw this coming from a mile away. Adamek totally ducked Pulev.

Soon it'll be McBride vs Maddalone for the right to an Adamek rematch. Total fraud.

McBride went the distance with Adamek - 12 rounds to be exact. McBride was gassed halfway through the first round...

There was a rumor on Polish websites that it would be Tony Grano, but Adamek has denied it.

I don't get why Adamek avoided Pulev - I thought Adamek was the definition of a warrior. He's let his fans down on this one
