If he's going to fight Canelo he should do it soon because he's declining and Canelo is improving. I don't think he'll ever do it.

2007: Oscar in May and Hatton in December. How soon we forget.

That was 2007? I don't know why, I thought he fought Hatton in 2006 and Oscar in 2005. My mistake.

Ortiz - Cotto was only 8 months apart.

W/e happens, in w/e fashion, I'm sure Floyd will make sure he retires undefeated. That "0" means more than anything to him. And when you think about it, at this point, why wouldn't he?

Hard to believe he'll go from that to 2 fights in 4 months. I hope I'm wrong, but I have my doubts.

He takes so much time off that it can be difficult to recall.

i doubt he will. I don't worry about it though. He'll fight when he wants.

The only thing that could stop his calander plan is hurting his hands or getting cut against Robert! I think Floyd see's the end and is willing to try and go out and pick up ALL the pennies (millions) he can! The undefeated mark is very important to him but it won't mean much once he's gone. Again compared to the great welters he's not up there with them. Not much power, doesn't come to fight (counters everything) and is a very small welter (in history). He will be remembered for orchestrating his carerer to assure his "0" on his record!!

oh yeah and avoiding Pacman for years!! Ray.

I'm aware of what year the fights took place. But the time between Ortiz and Cotto is only 8 months. That like saying if marquez fights in June that he hasn't fought in a year.
