Crap fight, but Dirrell needs tune ups I guess. He needs to step it up. He's not gonna be young forever.

This is boxing, not basketball where you can just get back on the court. Allow the guy to get rid of the rust before he jumps into a big fight...
I wish Andre all the best I want him to do big things and I know he has had many setbacks that have stalled his career but this is beneath him. In February he fought on the undercard of bums on an Spanish network. FNF isn't that bad for someone making a comeback but look at who he is fighting compared to who Peterson just fought on FNF coming off a 14 month layoff. I truly belief Andre will have to go across the pond, go to Canada to fight Stevenson or get a fight with Bika, to restore his name in the game.

50 cent doesn't have the pull to get guys like Stevenson to leave Canada or get Groves and Degale to the US to fight. He maybe able to get Bika. These are the type of guys Andre should be fighting right now. For someone as talented as Andre these are fighters that should be considered tuneups.

roberto duran would knock andre dirrell out if he trained hard. he could walk into the ring at 150-155 lbs. the speed and length would give him problems initially, but dirrell is too cautious to really touch him up early on. eventually duran would adjust to the speed and start to rip him with the power. dirrell will fall.

I wonder who his last two fights would have been with had he stayed with Haymon.

We are talking about the minimum weight 168, since I don't think Dirrell has fought any lower than 168. Duran was what, 40 years old when he got to 168? A 5' 7", 65" reach having, 40 year old at 168 is not going to beat Andre Dirrell. Don't care how great people think Duran was, he's not touching Dirrell at 168.
