Angulo will land some shots along the way but Canelo will thrash his body and lay him out after a brutal beating.
Angulo is an in house GBP fighter, comes forward, has little defense, and can take loads of punishment. WHether we want to admit it or not, he is the perfect 1st ppv opponent for a young volume pucher like Canelo.

We may want to see good fights, but casual fans want to see dominant fighters. What better way to make canelo look great then have him beat up a rough looking braided thug like Angulo.

Unless of course ODH comes out of retirement after the sparring session.

I would buy all these. Yes, even Cotto. I think Cotto is still a very good fighter and i'm a huge fan. Could see why some don't like that fight though.

      Hopefully it's Mayweather.

its either that or they think the Trout they will see in the ring is the one that looked so average when he fought Delvin and feel very confident of victory.

Yeah, if they could find someone that actually looked good beating Delvin then I'd agree.

Cotto can't play at the top tier anymore, sadly. He could look good for 2-3 more fights with WELL MATCHED opposition though.

Canelo needs to carve his own path and just fight all comers at 154.

It makes the most sense, Canelo isn't a horrible fighter by any means imo (I realize many may disagree) but Angulo will indeed make him look like superman in there. It would probably be a front runner for fight of the year too.

Not at all, Canelo has potential, but that just adds fuel to the criticism he gets (and deserves) because of the limited/light opposition he's fought (while wearing the belt). Post-detention Perro looks horrible.
