    > Cotto wont return till Nov. And you know this man says what he means. He wont be assed to move his date.

    > Canelo can not sell a PPV with Angulo. Why would they risk a serious flop, on someone that offers little to his resume? If serious $$ was not on the line, I can see them making the fight on showtime, but not a PPV.

    > Maravilla is clearly the #1 choice after Floyd. The only real problem with securing Sergio would be, if Floyd offers to fight him on the same date, just to steal Canelos momentum.

Canelo is the next big PPV star. Just like his mentor DLH. He has a country of hard core Boxing Fans behind him and he is or has created a buzz in the Boxing word. Especially now that the rumor going around in the public media that Floyd Ducked him.
Personally myself, do not think that by not signing the contact was a form of ducking, more so than a smart business decision that made sense. Although it did create the negative buzz now being that most people think Floyd ducked Manny for years.
With that said. Floyd will never fight Canelo anyhow. If he did or didnt, is or isnt ducking him. Hes to big and to strong. To dangerous this late stage in Floyds "cashing out" career. Just expect lame boring ass fights from Floyd with no meaning on his way out of Boxing and let the new stars arise like Canelo and others!

Will the Canelo jinx work on.....HIMSELF?! He hasnt even beat trout yet and they're already lining up oppenents for sept 14th. And what the hell has angulo done to get a shot? I like angulo but he hasnt done **** lately! Cotto/Canelo will bring in the most $$$, Martinez would be the most difficult fight for canelo.

Golden Boy have over extended themselves. They need to find a marketable for "Showtime", under their promotion.

This locks out any Top Rank or HBO opponents under contract. FFFFFFFFFFFFfff

Dudes... He still has to beat Austin Trout. Really don't think this press release was a smart move. If he does beat Trout then this will be an awesome discussion. Would love to see a string of big fights- assuming he looks like he ought to be in them after Trout.
