Apparently there is no press tour for Mayweather-Guerrero?

If there is one I have yet to read about any press release or dates confirming. It's kinda late to have one too especially for Floyd since he hasn't fought in a while and needs extra weeks to get his cardio shape in.

Anyone think having no press tour will hurt the promotional build up for this bout?

Yeah and no 24/7 since on showtime.

Some of it seems strange. There doesnt seem to be much promotion at this point.

Very Strange. They will have a fight camp 360 which isn't the same as 24/7, they are already filming it you can see them in that Floyd with Broner video filming him acting up and talking like crazy.

but I think the reason there is no press tour is because of the Canelo situation, Floyd reneging on his verbal commitment to Canelo and refusing to sign the contract and Canelo prolonging negotiations and than finally pulling out recently.

Im sure there will be a press tour. They dont take long to do. You just hit 3 or 4 cities in 4-6 days. Showtime also has fightcamp 360 which hardcore fans like more than 24/7. I think the 24/7 stuff was getting played out and redundant.

Of course there will be a press tour. Working out that Showtime deal obviously set things back a little, but there's still plenty of time to kickstar the promotion.

True, but man Ruben Guerrero vs. Floyd Sr trash talk would be epic, its what made the Pacquiao Hatton 24/7 so great, Floyd sr and Roach going at it.

I think that was the only 24/7 Floyd sr was a major role in?

Imagine the trash talk the Vato loco from the Barrio vs. the crack dealer from Grand Rapids.

Golden Boy said the press conference would take place on CBS in LA and they would take questions mailed to them by writers from other states who can't make it. Seems like way to only answer pre-approved questions to me.
