Oh boy, that is a good location. All the other ideas for an arena/stadium were not directly on the Strip, this will be right in the middle of action. Looking forward to some big fights there ...and hope it helps bring the All Star game go back to vegas too. That was crazy

he was right about it because it was always an MGM stadium, and when they got the idea they showed him the blueprints, and he announced it. At the time it was to be a temporary stadium with the same sort of usage as in todays report.

I don't know how many cretins on this site constantly gave Arum hell and taunted as if they were going crazy. I was attacked too for pointing out it wasnt Arums stadium but MGM's.

I can expect a huge number of PMs with apologies...naturally.

Edgarg you need to get off arum's nuttz. He said he wanted to build the temporary arena with steve Wynn not with MGM resorts.

Those involved made clear Monday that there's almost no chance Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao happens on May 5.

A bit disappointed with the attendance. 20,000 it should be more like 35,000.
In Britain we can get 20,000 fans for a British title fight, for a massive world title fight the new stadium should hold a lot more

Since this is an MGM / AEG deal, and AEG is the 2nd largest shareholder of Golden Boy stock, I dont think Bob will be getting any great deals on using that arena lol
