If Burns is down money he should get outta the fight with Vasquez and fight Broner. I don't think he would win, but if he put on a good show he could get more fights down the road after Broner moves up in weight. Not to mention it would be a great fight for Broner. This is speculation, but I bet Burns would get paid more for fighting Broner.

Vazquez had a viral infection from what was posted earlier, so technically not Warren's fault, but Warren didn't even try to find a replacement or anything. Wouldn't suprise me if Burns only found out through the net!
Yea but what I'm saying is, these guys are making it sound like it was Warren's fault and there was a strong rumor going around that Vazquez hadn't gotten paid for whatever it was that he was supposed to get paid for.

I don't understand what this has to do with Warren unless it's just some pretext to jump ship.

In my book Warren's good for British boxing, people should just lay off, if it wasn't for him and Boxnation we'll be catching ****ty late night streams to watch live boxing Stateside.

Yeah I agree, but at what cost, ricky burns is turning into a ****ing joke, everybody thinks hes scared ****less of broner, and now the guys just holding a title hostage and not fighting anybody.

Burns is having no luck of late with postponements. Walsh, Ocampo now Vasquez.

Burn's team seem angry, maybe there is more to it than illness..there was rumors of payments ect?

Maybe Burns will be the next to jump ship from Warren to Eddie Hearns.

They already tried to make that fight prior to this, and Ricky's team turned down every offer. They also stated they didn't want to pay U.S. taxes. I think they felt if they won an extra belt, they could ask for and get even more money for a Broner fight.

Warren is probably going broke (again). Not in the literal sense, that **** will have millions stashed away but his business accounts probably dont look to pretty atm. Team Burns is probably worried they wont get paid when Warren files for bankruptcy (again) so will be reluctant to reschedule

Well if thats the case, no wonder Burns is pissed! What is clear is Warren has issues atm!
