I'm mostly talking about nowadays. And yeah he was hungry and wanted those fights, but network and promotion problems prevented them from happening. In particular he really wanted to fight 'Zoo, but Zoo was signed to a contract for Showtime IIRC and Floyd at the time was perceived to be a high risk, low reward kind of guy in boxing circles so he had trouble securing some fights.

Broner still got his "0" doe.

Please Martinez wont even fight the best in his own division. You dont see Floyd calling out lightweights do you? Broners doing what hes suposed to be doing. Keeping his name relevant. The flipside to Broner acting like a fool in order to sell tickets, is that many people wouldnt spend a lot of money to see a fighter in the flesh they want to lose.

I think being an obnoxious prick in front of the cameras to raise your profile is the tactic of the idiot.
Its possible to be very charismatic and entertaining yet respectful, honest and humble at the same time.

But i dont have issues with Broner. His act is too transparent to take seriously. And he delivers in the ring.
