I did it for awhile. I fully appreciate the respect that you have for the fighters but you only touched the tip of the iceberg in your description that you gave of what a fighter has to deal with. Professional boxing is not called The hurtin' game for nothing. I just wish there were more people like you on this forum who have the vision and compassion for what our fighters deal with.........Rockin'

The fans pay their salary. They are compensated enough to deal with backlash when they deserve it.

you are obviously clueless as to the price these fighters pay and how few will ever make $30,000 in one year if even in a full career.

In general if a fighter gets to the level where you would notice him he will have already paid his dues through the amateurs where he fought for free aswell as all of the fights that they fought for spare change leading to that point. The countless wars in the gyms all done for free in search of only experience What does he have to prove to you.

You guys would be kissing ass, shaking hands, getting autographs and then like some punk you will come on line to talk trash about that fighter.

Imagine this...waking up early before the sun comes up rain sleet or snow..running 5-10 miles no matter how you feel,cutting back on your food intake,refusing all the things others enjoy in order to make something out of yourself..Going to the gym working until you cant work anymore.Sparring getting hit over and over again to increase punch resistance.you do all this before the actual fight where you will sweat,bleed and try your best to win...How many people on here can actually go through this??how many of you think you have what it takes?
