Sturm performed well and easily could have gotten the win against Geale. I don't think you can say he really lost to Murray either. Draw was fair there. I don't see how you can score the Macklin fight for him, so I'll kind of go with you there although I had it a draw while watching a choppy online version. He obviously beat Zbik, Hearns, Lorenzo, and Sato. I can't speak to Gevor and Sylvester because that was before I started watching every major European fight, though he seemed to win cleanly on the cards in both. So that's a list of his last 10 fights. He had at least an argument in, let's say, all but 1. I think he had the clear edge in 7 of the 10 (an arguable draw or loss vs. Macklin and fights against Geale and Murray that could have gone either way. Saying he lost 9 out of 10 is beyond hyperbolic.

And regarding Mayweather ducking Pacquiao- yeah I think he was at one point. But there's nothing left to duck at this point. A rematch of his domination of Marquez makes more sense than fighting Pacquiao at the moment. There are at least 5 or 6 fights I'd rather see for Floyd right now at 154 or 147 than Pacquiao. Trout, Canelo, Marquez, Guerrero, Molina, and Rosado all come to mind. Pac has at least underperformed expectations in each of his last 3 fights, and I think he legitimately lost 2 of them- both to a guy that, again, Floyd dominated. Sure, he deserved to beat Bradley, but it wasn't exactly a wipeout.

Thats not good news. Takes the shine off Soliman's biggest win (even if the scoring itself on fight night was abit controversial).

Be interesting to see the results of the B sample, and how the IBF act if its also positive.
