Going to a boxing event alone?????

hey guys, planning on buying tickets to Donaire -Rigo, problem is I never been to a boxing event and I don;'t know anyone who would want to go.

have you ever been to a boxing event alone? How was it? Worth it?

That sounds kinda embarrassing tbh. Take a friend or a family member at the very least.

Tyson sometimes goes to watch boxing alone. I would if I had the money. You could try get a friend/family member hyped about boxing, or a boxer in particular.

Doesn't sound bad to me..I mean its not the movies or a restaurant. If a friend is brought make sure they know Boxing.

          you're forced to socialize - that's a good thing.

Start hyping up the fight to people around you so others would want to go. Atleast that's what I do when I don't want to watch fights alone. Everything is funner with company, especially if your going to an event, you don't want to sit in silence. Atleast that's how I would look at it. But if I wanted to see a fight real bad and nobody wanted to go then **** it I'd go alone lmao

I wouldn't force someone to go if they aren't interested in going to begin with. You will spend most of the time explaining every little thing to them and miss a lot. I've been to a few matches on my own and had a blast there's always someone to talk to. Most of the times the seats are so close to eachother you have no choice but to conversate with the person next to you otherwise it would be awkward.

Usually sporting events I have covered I have MMA friends I have pro wrestling friends and I have boxing friends. Only thing I do alone is movies. By choice. I hate watchin movies with friends

Talk to people on the forums and see if anyone wants to roll.

There's a good amount of peeps from here going. Thing is, chances are you won't be anywhere near them during the fight. You can always get together before/after the fight.

But like someone said, try to socialize with someone next to you. Just make sure you two are going for the same guy. If not, dont get into any altercations.
