A Question About Boxers And Size

In the minimumweight division fighters aren't allowed to weigh in at more than 105 lbs. I'm guessing that at the absolute most they rehydrate to 120. I looked at the height of some of these fighters and noticed they are about 5'0 to 5'2.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, at heavyweight, there are guys that weigh over twice the amount of minimumweights. Fury and Price, who are 6'9 and 6'8, weigh in at just under 250.

If these guys weigh twice as much, wouldn't you expect them to be twice as tall? Unless they make it up by being, like, 3 times as wide, which I doubt, I don't see how this works.

Well, when you show a photo of 2 guys standing semi sideways it all makes perfect sense.

Listen bro, everyone's body is not the same! You may have a skinny guy that weighs 150, you may have a stocky guy that weighs 148! Havent you've noticed this, just from being a boxing fan? You see guys going up in weight, and their bodies changing in allot of different ways and what not. I think Ghost weighs in at 150 on fight night, but standing next to Floyd he looks huge. Next to berto he looked like a giant. Did him worse than Ortiz, who seems stocky and weighs more, at 165.
