So its amazing he was so dominant and full of energy having to sap so much water.

Also the people saying the proof he took steroids is his head lol, well if you don't drain water from your body your head will look fuller than it would when you are fighting at a smaller weight division. Also he never looked ripped and muscular at welterweight

How come a lot of people make excuses saying Pac only beat weight drained fighters, yet he was beating fighters while he was weight drained?

Body at welterweight softer and fuller in the face and body, he fought at his natural weight similar to floyd they didn't have to cut weight at 147
It's over son. Your hero has to retire or he will suffer another brutal ko loss. Let it go. Getting knocked unconscious is a bad way to exit boxing, but Pac left a legacy in his fans mind. You should retire too from being a boxing fan too. These kinds of posts are posts that we don't need. Nobody cares anymore. PAc was knocked out. Let it go...

So we should stop talking about Ali, Tyson, Holmes, Duran, etc? just because they are no longer boxer?

At the time he didnt have to drain himself at all , he has grown along with moving through the weight classes , some basic under the hood boxing knowledge missing from these topic starters where they are often making statements that make no sense if you know how it works .

Yeah it seemed like a lot to me as well. It's also pretty crazy to think that he weighs in at around 150lbs on fight night nowadays. He's just 5lbs heavier than when he was fighting as a SFW five years ago. Arguably even less if you take the limits of rehydration into account.

He was never drained, he got to up 135-140-147 because he was on PED's lol. That is how he gained the weight. Any of you blind idiots who think Pac never did roids is foolish. The guy's head has doubled in size in the last 8 years man cmon lol. Ridiculous.

It's definitely a lot to gain over night. It kind of puts to rest Pac was this little guy coming up in weight when he was already weighing in as a welterweight all those years ago

Some people are just good at cutting weight.

                Another fool, with Flowmo logic.

his head is not bigger, his face was thinner at the lighter weights, as you get older your face fills out and when you move up in weight too, look at Oscar De La Hoya he has a fat face now and when he was fighting at the lighterweights his face wasn't that big it was more chiseled.

and lol going up to 147 because of peds when you were already ripped at the lower weights and walked around at 145 pounds.

                just stop dude

I wouldn't say Pac was ever drained at those weights. Earlier in his career, maybe, but not since hitting 122.
Sugar Ray Robinson lost 12 lbs during his fight with Joey Maxim. He weighed in at 157 for the light-heavy title bout, and after the fight weighed 145....

I don't know why I bother to reply, but just can't resist (that's why). All this crap about Pacquiao's head is such a waste of time, as well as being untrue..

A well known picture of Pacquiao when he was about 16 was floating around this site for a few years. His head was so big, that it was nearly the size of his body. I'm sure that some of you will remember this picture, and perhaps even have it. He looked as if he was starving.
