How bad did Manny Pacquiao have to drain himself to make 122-130 lbs?

I remember an interview where Roach said that Manny walked around at 145 pounds and had to drain himself to make 122-130 pound divisions. Manny is very little body fat so he had to really sap his muscles of water, he had a really dry and grainy body when he weighed in at 130. So its amazing he was so dominant and full of energy having to sap so much water.

Also the people saying the proof he took steroids is his head lol, well if you don't drain water from your body your head will look fuller than it would when you are fighting at a smaller weight division. Also he never looked ripped and muscular at welterweight

How come a lot of people make excuses saying Pac only beat weight drained fighters, yet he was beating fighters while he was weight drained?

Body at welterweight softer and fuller in the face and body, he fought at his natural weight similar to floyd they didn't have to cut weight at 147

Is that really true? I always thought it was because us Filipinos are pretty ****in small people.

Pac says he likes Bruce Lee, sure did some training like Bruce did to get similar body type.

Someone pointed that out to me recently and I was pretty surprised by it:

He was only 148 when he fought Oscar later that year.

That seems normal these days. More of a sign of the drugs fighters are probably using to lose that weight, when so many are putting on more than 10 pounds by the time they step in the ring.

I wouldn't say Pac was ever drained at those weights. Earlier in his career, maybe, but not since hitting 122.

From the weigh in photos Pacman is clearly drained, look at how dry and grainy and ripped he looks and his skeleton face those are the signs of water depletion.

Cutting a lot of weight doesn't necessarily mean he was weight drained to the point that it effected his health at all. There are a ton of factors that go into that, namely water weight, but I could see bone structure and other genetic factors playing a part as well.

I cut 8 pounds in like 3 days from 157 to 149. Gained the weight because I ate like a fatass over a single weekend and I'm far from being on a professional athletes level of conditioning. You can't look at numbers and tell at all. In some of those pics its pretty clear he has a low body fat percentage so this pretty much fits in with the fact that Manny is known to be relax and laze around gaining weight when he isn't fighting.

He was drained further down when he was still growing and was a huge mutha at those weights. From about 122 up though, I don't think he was ever drained. He looked thin etc, and had to lose a lot of weight because he's naturally a very big guy to be fighting at those weights, but he always fought incredibly hard without any sign of being drained whatsoever.

When he got in the ring he was an animal. He never fought like a drained fighter.
