I think the issue why they're not making him step up is cause of his hands. Imagine he was fighting Ponce or anyone in the top 10 for that fact and he had to fight one handed? I personally dont wanna see him step up till the hand issue is fixed (if ever).

Mayweather had issues with his hands for years, didnt stop Top Rank from progressing him? Jake LaMotta had to take Novocain before every fight because his hands were so small and brittle, if his hands are the reason their not moving him on then he's in the wrong game!

its boxing. hand injuries are a part of it. if he can't face top fighters because of it, he should not face bums either.
