Not surprising for anybody who knows boxing. There have been more skinny punchers than muscular punchers in the history of the sport.
Yeah but Hearns had big bones, people don't understand that those skinny boxers have heavy bones, just didn't have much meat on them. Donaire has narrow tiny wrists and ankles.

Hearns was skinny but he was very strong, he had wide bones, broad shoulders, lean ripped muscle something Donaire doesn't have, and thick bones. People don't understand how important your bone structure is when it comes to power.

All those guys were ripped or had lean muscle, Hearns was not small, he was actually very strong, he just had a big wide frame, wide wrists, big bones just not much meat on his bones making him look smaller than he was, so people thought oh this guy is skinny when the truth is his frame was much bigger than those guys he was fighting hence why he had so much power.

Also Zarate had denser bones and big fists

Sorry, Chico had muscles, Finito fought in a super small weight division which is normal size for his division, and Sal Sanchez was skinny but he had heavy bones and big hands similar to Erik Morales a scrawny guy but had wide wrists.

Donaire is skinny, no muscle tone, super duper scrawny ankles and wrists, and skinny fingers and brittle knuckles that always start bleeding, he will not be able to go past 126, he is not a sturdy guy that can move up in weight.

Yeah Chico had muscles but he had small wrists. I thought power was all about bone structure?

Donaire already moved up in weight, 122 is his 4th weightclass.

I think Donaire is the best in the world pound for pound. I don't think he should go up in weight. He is 30 years old and all through growing for sure. He should just stay at 122 and rule that weight class with an iron fist the way Hagler ruled 160. He is maxed out at 122 an his body actually looks a bit soft for a boxer when he weighs in at 122 for a fight. It does not matter if he is tall or short, if he has reached his ideal fighting weight he should stay there. If he continues to move up in weight he will be fighting men who are bigger and stronger than him and he will no longer be the best pound for pound. He could fight at 126 since it's only 4 more pounds. If he goes higher than that and fights the best fighters at 130 or 135 I think he will lose sooner or later.

I think Donaire will win by KO but Rigo is a hell of a fighter and a threat to KO anyone who gets in the ring with him. He has speed and power and he is a great body puncher.

The point is, these are not short and stalky fighters and Muscles whether tightly wound or huge doesn't play into power. Power is natural and Donaire, Hearns, Arguello and others were/are considered tall and thin for their weights. In clothes, a Welterweight Hearns looked anorexic which everyone knows was not the case.
