If this is true, it would be interesting. Gamboa would have to fight very very smart. In and out with his excellent hand speed and footwork. But if he gets caught, I think he could be stopped, he is a bit chinny... Broner is beatable and whilst the right gameplan can be made for this, there are very few who can execute it. Gamboa would have a chance.

I'll say make it happen I know broner wants to fight in june, so this fight would be perfect for the fall. Hopefully they make it in AC

Since Broner-Gamboa was first discussed, I felt Broner would win in a landslide. But Rees kinda showed ("exposed" would be an overstatement) some things that could definitely be used by Gamboa. I'd still pick Broner. But if he fights the smaller Gamboa like he fought the smaller Rees, Mr Problem could have a problem.

As for a Broner-Malignaggi fight. If it leads to Broner fighting Floyd, JMM, Pac, or Bradley I say go for it. But if he simply jumps up and fights Malignaggi for a paper belt and retreats for safer waters, its just as lame as what Pac has done in the Margarito and David Diaz fights and I'd expect him to be lambasted accordingly.

Yeah, pretty hilarious. Gamboa would have trouble with Broner (and vice-versa), but he'd beat the snot out of Donaire. Pacdbest thinks Nono can move all the way up to middleweight. lol

                      Great fight

I would love to see the fight. No matter what people say this is a 50/50 fight, and a good one as well.
Lets just hope that Gamboa can address the whole PED thing and they make VADA, WADA or whomever part of the deal that way there is no controversy.

And by the way Gamboa is not too small for the lightweight division nor was he a small featherweight. This is a guy who is short, but walks around 150 lbs. Remember the photos of him when he got arrested a year or two back? They described him as weighing 160 lbs. So 135 isn't too big for him.
