No matter who the Klitschkos fight, some people will whine and moan about it. It's sickening.
Francesco Pianeta is a good fighter. He's 28-0, 6'5", age 28, a southpaw, a former world amateur youth champion, and has never been down in a fight.
I'm looking forward to seeing Wladimir fight again!

lol.
Were you happy when he fought Mormeck too? Or was i allowed to "moan and whine" then?
I love watching Wladimir fight. But not against no-hopers.
Seriously, it's been almost 4 years since he fought a 12 round fight.
I don't care how tall he is. Only ******s think that height among heavyweights is of huge importance.Last edited by Barry Halls; 03-03-2013, 08:16 AM.

But it was okay for Wald to fight him (and people shouldn't have moaned and whined) because the fight was first offered to everybody else (Helenius, Fury, Povetkin, etc) and they turned it down.
But Pianeta is a better opponent than Mormeck, he's a durable young undefeated heavyweight, a former European champ and former world amateur junior champion. No need to whine and moan.

And I would have been disappointed if he'd fought Fres Oquendo, a real bum who is the only heavyweight with losses to 3 boxers over the age of 40 (McCall, Toney and Holyfield). He also lost to Jean-Marc Mormeck.
But I'm happy with Wladimir fighting Francesco Pianeta, and I would have been happy with Bryant Jennings, the only other decent heavyweight who was willing.

I can't wait to see Wlad fighting 3 times a year again, last year allowed the likes of Price,Pulev and Fury to progress and get the experience needed,I couldn't care less what bums get beat on by the bro's as long as they fight their mandatories and unifications down the line.Theyve cleared out the last wave and are awaiting the next line of would be challengers.
Whether Vitali continues or not, which I hope he does,I'll be happy with a defining career, rather than a particular defining fight.Hopefully he sticks around and fights Fury though,I'd like to see him on his backside or retiring on his stool.
