Pro boxer fighting under different rules?

Here's a rare vid of Skelton (255 lbs)
    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=141021

Fighting in japan's Pride fc organisation. I have no idea how much He was paid for this or why He accepted to fight in a combat like this in the first place.
Anyway , the fight ends with a Front Strangle Choke.
Note that his opponent weighs 285 lbs though

    Here it is.

Skeleton was a mma fighter before boxing, he did it for a living.

Ok, I just checked his other fighting records and that fight was his only mma fight in his entire career.
all the rest was in kickboxing only.
I was kinda surprised when I saw that cause I only knew him as a K1 fighter.

He didn't do very well in that fight. he's done very well in boxing so far though, considering his limited skills.
