All the heavier divisions aren't run by anybody.

You have 160, 168, 175, 200 and 200+ all free from promoter monopoly.

Golden Boy has a monopoly over 154. 147 is a mix of TR/GB. Same with 140.

I'm not sure about the lower weights. But theres no way you can say boxing is run by anybody when half the sports divisions have no monopoly whatsoever. Even if the bigger money fights are lower down, though the Klitschko's make a LOT themselves.

Interestingly enough, its the higher weights where matchups can actually be made without much fuss. Froch/Bute, Froch/Kessler show that for 168, not to mention the Super Six (which is one of the best ideas for the sport for a long time). Big promoters are a plague to the sport.
