Every new generation has improved training, dieting, conditioning etc. Fighters these days would definitely have an edge if you plucked two fighters out of their era and put them together in a ring. Just like if you asked a 1985 John McEnroe to play against a pro player these days.

I compare based on what each did in their generation, how strong their generation was, and try and take an impartial look at their skills. For me Ali dominated the strongest era in boxing and had legendary speed, accuracy and instincts. That's why in my opinion he's the best (and definitely better than David Haye!). As mentioned though my knowledge is not great haha!

Incidentally Sadler, are those comments directed towards the original video I posted, or the one I just posted above your post? Reason being, I agree with you looking back that the original video I made did lack structure and overall I'm dissapointed with it. That's why I made the new one.

Lol that's OK. It would be hypocritical of me to invite feedback and get upset when it was negative, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Plus, I happen to agree with some of what you said!
