Say what you like about the Wlad fight, but he wasn't dominated. Like I said somewhere else, Haye gets flak for delivering a boring performance, not flak for being dominated by Wlad, because he wasn't. Most rounds had a jab or two winning them.

Love him or hate him, you'll watch his fights
The closest margin on a judge's scorecard was 6 rounds - not exactly close. As I've said elsewhere, Sultan Ibragimov came closer to beating Wladimir.

Well mine is David Haye although quite unactive at the moment, David Price was looking good until he got stopped by Tony Thompson. So the only one i can see doing anything anytime soon would have to be Tyson Fury if he gets past Steve Cunningham, unless you choose the obvious which would be Wladamir Klitchsko. So i will have to be patriotic and choose Tyson.

I really, honestly, enjoy watching Wlad. I don't know why people find him boring but whenever other side is even remotely out of a survival mode it's a very interesting fight.

I recently rewatched Thompson - Wlad 1 and I know I thought back then, but even more now, that was one very entertaining fight. I like the athleticism of Wlad, his movement/speed. He is quite fluent actually, very accurate and patient. He can adapt to certain styles too.
I never preferred brewing style and extensive inside boxing.
He breaks opponents not just physically but mentally too. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's like an art but it's defensively the science of boxing.

i agree to a large degree. problem is he needs a worthy challenger in order for it to be entertaining. some of his opponents bring about as much to the table as a punching bag. its only entertaining to watch a one sided boxing lesson if the losing fighter keeps trying to win which is seldom the case in wlads fights.

also it isnt very impressive to break someone mentally when they have a weak mind or were even mentally defeated before the fight started which is often the case.

the thing that makes wlad boring much of the time is even after he breaks gusy he doesnt finish them off. like i said before, if the other guy is still trying to win wlad boxing safely would remain entertaining. bit when they dont want to be there anymore he needs to get them out of there right away and not hang around.

It wasn't close in terms of scoring, but there wasn't that much dominance in that fight, wlad boxed cautiously as he should, and Haye stayed out of range for the most part, it was a smart fight from wlad

Neither of them would be in their right mind to get in a tear up, the way for wlad to win was points by the jab, and stay out of trouble, for Haye he was never going to win on points so he needed to look for the counter and also stay out of trouble. Wlad fought the perfect fight as he didn't give anything to counter and Haye wasn't allowed to use his gameplan

Of course Haye talked too much rubbish and so gets vilified and the fight gets exaggerated

Truth be told it was a cagey, boring affair and wlad used his range to win convincingly on points, neither of them hurt each other which for two power punchers with suspect chins tells you how cagey it was

I don't mind Wlad taking his time to soften up a fighter and then takes him out. After all he has 50 TKO/KO. In 62 fights - that's very impressive indeed.

He is not Tyson to takes out guys in 1-2 rounds. He likes to box a bit first. But I don't see that as disadvantage. He doesn't need to take someone out to win the fight. He will win every round and then take you out.

Haye-Wlad was among the 5 most boring fights Wlad had. But I think it's more due to this match up. Haye vs tall/large fighter will never be an interesting fight. Haye will always have speed advantage and he likes to run a LOT.

I would like to see Tyson/Wlad. Lets just hope Tyson won't lose till then.

No but I would like to say I neglected to add Tyson Fury to my list.

Totally forgot about him. That and he is also one of the best matched Heavyweight's in recent years.

Wladimir Klitschko is by far my favorite heavyweight.

I also enjoy watching Abdusalamov, Pulev, Jennings, Fury, Wilder, Price, Mitchell, Banks, Glazkov, Boytsov, and Povetkin.

I used to like watching Adamek and Vitali, but it's not the same watching the current faded versions of them.
