I voted for Lucas. He is great. My second pick is Peterson. He is the only 140 pounder with the courage to fight Lucas like a true champion. I think he will get KOed by Lucas but I think Peterson beats the rest of the 140 pounders. I know Rios would fight Lucas and he is my 3rd favorite but he can't fight Golden Boy fighters because of the promoter feud. Garcia is a good fighter and enjoyable to watch but I think he is ducking Lucas.

i think garcia trusts the judgement of goldenboy, and more importantly al haymon. you can hear his reverence for haymon in his voice.

is it possible that he's afraid to fight lucas matthysse? perhaps. i'm of the belief that virtually all world class fighters think they can beat any man of their size on the planet. i don't think garcia is scared. his management may be scared. they're protecting an investment. you can make money without risking a fight with matthysse.
