How many PPV Buys will Mayweather-Guerrero, Mares- De leon May 4th card do?

Reports coming from many sources said that the Mayweather /Ortiz fight did around 850k buys and not the 1.25mil buys that shaefer reported. Up until then HBO would release Floyds ppv buy rate. For some reason they didn't release the #'s for that fight. I say this fight with guerrero does no more than 800k buys. Still nothing to sneeze at but I think the unknown guerrero won't help carry this fight over the 1mil mark.

You know what the difference is though......Golden Boy actually released the PPV revenue #'s that were made for that fight, 78 million. When Top Rank says Manny's numbers for his last 4 fights, they just say a number and don't say anything about the revenue it created.

Golden Boy would be in trouble with the IRS if they lied about how much revenue the fight generated. And if that fight did do 78 million in revenue, and if Floyd made 45 million for that fight, which was widely reported, than 1.25M buys sounds realistic.

What did it say that wasn't true? There was indeed a lot of talk about how that fight uunderperformed in terms of ppv sales. So if it did in fact do 850k, then I don't see how a fight with the lesser known guerrero could surpass it. That's the reason for me even bringing that up. Is that not the point of this thread?

No it wasn't...It was a Top Rank writer that reported "hearing lower numbers." Then all you ******s circle jerked like crazy and he recanted on the low figures like a day later. It was all wishful thinking and circle jerking by you and your ilk. BTW did animal control come sc**** that Manny roadkill off of the MGM Grand canvas yet?
