i was hoping for at least a half step higher opponent for cotto.there's a lot happening in his division(s).

wish he'd make a real move up.

i hope branco is compensated for the beating i think he's in for.

gianluca will be little more than a stay busy fight for cotto. especially in PR.

yes, i feel he's being fed to the wolfs here. although, cotto's power hasnt materialized in most recent fights like some has praised him for having.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Branco won this one. Gatti only beat him by a point on my card (caused by a knockdown). But then again, I doubt they would give Branco a point decision in Cotto's backyard (not suggesting PR is corrupt all of a sudden but come on, Cotto is their one meal ticket!) Branco doesn't have the power to stop Cotto, I don't think.

Unfortunately although there is alot of talent in his division, Hatton is out for the next 4 months, Mayweather is @147, Gatti is fighting this month, and Vivian Harris is still having trouble with his promoter. He has to stay active and Branco is solid opposition(i think he has no chance). This fight is better than Balbi. After this fight, a fight with Castillo may be in line, then maybe Hatton if Cotto has not already moved up to 147. The only other fight i see for him is Witter(which will also get dismantled by Cotto). But Witter was scheduled to fight Branco?!!! WHo esle is there?
