CHAMPION Nathan Cleverly’s preparations for the defence of his world title against Robin Krasniqi have been upset by a stomach bug.
The WBO light-heavyweight king, undefeated in 25 fights, lost almost a stone in weight after he was struck down with a virus.
It is the second time Cleverly has been laid low by illness, having pulled out of last February’s scheduled fight at the Royal Albert Hall against German-based Kosovan Krasniqi.
But the Welshman is now back in training and “feeling good” as he aims to finally secure a date with former world champion Juergen Braehmer.
