Polish giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs) is making plans for his next fight. Last November he was beaten up very badly by unified champion Wladimir Klitschko (59-3, 50 KOs). After the fight, he tested positive for anabolic steroids. He received a one year suspension, and a fine, from the German Boxing Federation. Wach says the suspension will prevent him from fighting in Germany, but not in Poland. He wants to return at the end of April.

What is the point of a ban if it doesnt apply across the sport? All that ban does is say if you want to cheat, do it elsewhere! Not if u want to cheat you will be punished severely! Wach showed great heart in lasting the 12 with Wlad but showed he is easily beatable and has little boxing skill. Don't see a bright future. Maybe he gets a fight with Adamek in Poland?

This article was on a Polish website a few days ago. Since then, Mariusz Wach was turned down by the Polish boxing authorities who will uphold the German ruling (see link in my heavyweight thread).

Now, Wach is trying to get a license to fight in the USA:
