  • Comments Thread For: Aydin, Odlanier Solis, Arik in Play For 3/22 in Berlin

Arena Box Promotion, headed by Ahmet Oner, and Ludus Pugilatus, headed by Robert Rolle, join forces for a show at the Universal Hall in Berlin on March 22 with the main fights televised by EuroSport.

As for who is fighting it“s still an open question. If you check boxrec there“s a show with almost 100 rounds of boxing listed but in reality co-promoter Rolle says there will be fewer fights and that they overbook just to be certain that enough quality fights gets off the ground. As it is now super middleweight Uensal Arik, 17-1, welterweight Selcuk Aydin, 23-2, and maybe heavyweight Odlanier Solis will headline the show. [Click Here To Read More]

    solis fighting in 3 weeks?

i wonder if he has been putting in any road work? i hope he is no more then 250. obviously i'd want him lighter but i'm being realistic. that would be almost a 20lbs drop from the airich fight.

Oner has been derailing Solis' career since the Klitschko fight...

Do you think Solis can come back and make some noise?

Aydin better win his next one. His stock has plummeted.

I think so. If he keeps more active he can make some noise. Fighting once a year is not going to help him though.

Oner is taking too long to choose an opponent for Solis.

This always means it will be a tomato can, good fighters rarely agree to fight on short notice.

What a waste of talent Solis is, really disappointing seeing a guy never reaching his full potential because he's a fat lazy **** and has the wrong people around him.

Yeah, definitely. He actually looked like a dangerous guy versus Guerrero, and I wanted to see him again. He lost almost all of that versus Karass.

I doubt he can make some noise. He's not serious about boxing, he's loving the life in the US. Trust me. Unless his take has changed in a few months.
