    oh he could certainly do that, he just wont get a whole lot of credit for getting the abc belt if he does that. He will get even less credit than jones did vs ruiz because atleast ruiz was a belt holder for quite some time where as paulie is a very weak belt holder and many expect him to loose very soon no matter who the opponent is.

      So his only chance is to outpoint Malignaggi who still has OK footwork? Paulie has a great chin. How else could he even survive at this level, let alone have success, with only one hand? It would take a masterpiece...doesn't seem too likely.

        He stopped a big welterweight with his jab. He cut Juan Diaz's face and stopped another WW in Lozada. Thanks to repeat broken hands his power is limited but it's not completely absent.
