Pac V Marquez

When the 3rd fight was announced everyone was against Marquez coming up in weight and on bob arums case for giving pac the advantage of making Marquez bulk up.

3rd fight was at 144 catch weight and the 4th was at 147.

In hindsight Bob arum is probably kicking him self (good), I think pac would of done much better at 140 and he deffently wouldn’t of got KTFO by marquez. I think its deservers arum right for trying to give manny so many advantages with these catchweights. Bout time it back fiered in a big way.

Thoughts? Did the weight really screw manny over by giving marquez that KO power? Or does marquez still beat him at 140 back in 2011?

Regardless of weight, JMM just has his number. I don't think he gets KTFO at 140, but who knows.

It's not a slight on Pac that one boxing's greatest counter punchers can beat him on any given night. That's just a part of boxing. Aggressive fighter vs. Counter puncher. Counter puncher usually wins.

Pacquiao is a freak, and can trump that logic, but we're dealing with the highest class of each particular style.
