Doing Some Research I Found something very interesting worth talking about.
that some of the GREATEST Athletes and FIERCE Competitors we have ever seen in Professional sports happen to be born in the Month of February. Does this Ensure Greatness? No, but it is pretty interesting given the fact that at one point or another these athletes were standing on or near top of their peers. Is Mayweather's Confidence God Given? Even Abe Lincoln was born in February....

Or its a 1 in 12 chance you will be born in a specific month. You can collect ATG fighters and athletes born in any month. Where is Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali? Oh they were born in January. Where is Leonard and Hagler?? Oh they were born in May. Where is Duran?? June. Hearns?? October. Etc

Isn't is supposed to be down to kids born in the earlier part of the year on average being slightly bigger and stronger than kids who are in the same group as them but were born 6-10 months later. Slight physical advantage over other kids gets them more attention and praise from coaches, and it snowballs from there.

This is what Malcolm Gladwell, the guy who wrote 'The Tipping Point' and 'Outliers' said about it:

The first chapter in "Outliers" is about how some Canadian hockey players born in the first months of the year enjoy advantages that those born later in the year don't have. You also write that birth month correlates closely with success in other sports. Why is this?

It's a beautiful example of a self-fulfilling prophecy. In Canada, the eligibility cutoff for age-class hockey programs is Jan. 1. Canada also takes hockey really seriously, so coaches start streaming the best hockey players into elite programs, where they practice more and play more games and get better coaching, as early as 8 or 9. But who tends to be the "best" player at age 8 or 8? The oldest, of course -- the kids born nearest the cut-off date, who can be as much as almost a year older than kids born at the other end of the cut-off date. When you are 8 years old, 10 or 11 extra months of maturity means a lot.

So those kids get special attention. That's why there are more players in the NHL born in January and February and March than any other months. You see the same pattern, to an even more extreme degree, in soccer in Europe and baseball here in the U.S. It's one of those bizarre, little-remarked-upon facts of professional sports. They're biased against kids with the wrong birthday. -

I was actually thinking about something similar the other day. I used to think all the astrology stuff was complete bs but I had a girlfriend that was into it a lot of the stuff seems true when she described it. I'm a taurus and i definitely posses a lot of the charicteristics of a taurus although its certainly not true in every case
