I doubt he is trying to duck Trout, he just wants to have a guarantee he gets Floyd IF he beats Trout.
just stop it man!!!....Nelo is ducking Trout along with the rest of the division's top 10...Floyd is a WW...he's not OBLIGATED to fight Nelo...the kid hasn't EARNED the right to talk to bosses....get real!!
Floyd isn't giving in to Canelo's demands. Canelo vs Angulo on May 11th at the Staples Center then I hope Floyd doesn't fight him in September. Best win is over Ryan Rhodes and he's dictating to the number 1 P4P fighter in the world? GTFO
Floyd calls himself a pioneer right? So whats the problem? You and the rest of the boys are making this into a bigger deal than it really is.
As a pioneer he should not let spoiled, spoon fed up and comers who haven't proved **** in the sport of boxing control negotiations, demand fights and earn millions of dollars that they haven't earned. There is no reason why Canelo shouldn't fight Trout.
If Floyd doesn't fight the winner of Canelo vs. Trout, I would criticize him and rightfully so when the time comes. But as of today, all I see is Canelo potentially avoiding a tough fight and crying like a spoiled ***** because Floyd won't give him any attention.
That's what Canelo is trying to do. Have a contract to fight Floyd. I mean Canelo is one of the top 154 pounders just like Floyd and he's willing to fight a risky fight to get it. Risk and Floyd don't mix ya dig? At least Canelo is willing to do it.
I just don't understand this approach. I already can hear it, " Ain't nobody tell Floyd Mayweather who fight except Floyd Mayweather." I would love to see Canelo and Floyd go at it. It sounds like a d*ck move to threaten to drop Trout. I still contend the best way to secure a Mayweather fight is call him every name in the book any time a microphone is near your face. Post fight, pre-fight, podcasts, espn, wear a shirt with offensive comments on it... etc.
