I like Silva, but that guy looks too small and too passive to showcase any boxing talent he has. I doubt Silva has the legs at this day and age(I think he's close to 40 now) to go 12 rounds at the elite level. I can't picture him too motionless in a boxing ring otherwise he'd get caught. He'd be fighting in the Light Heavyweight I believe if he were to make the transition now.

He does have crispy punching, I like that. His idol is Ali.

Silva is a natural fighter, if he followed boxing his entire life instead of mma, he would have been a world champ IMO.

        He's a natural boxer/striker.

Not exactly quick hands but foot work was nice and aggression was there as well.

theres been boxers who got knocked out in their first couple of fights and went on to become world champions. im not saying silva would have been a world champion in boxing had he tried, its much tougher than to make it in mma.

but hes still the best mixed martial artist ever which means he doesnt exactly suck. as far as striking goes hes on a whole other level compared to other mma fighters.

He's definitely got skills. He's clearly a better boxer than any other MMA fighter out there. I think he could have been successful had he dedicated himself, but he's done well going down as the greatest MMA fighter of all time. He made the right choice.
