Lmao people bringing up size. I bet on fight night you wont even be able to tell the difference. The ghost might come in bigger because his only chance is to bulldoze floyd and make it a ugly fight.

He'll bring it to Floyd early on and get him with some body shots against the ropes. When Floyd starts to adjust, Guerrero will switch up and use the jab until Floyd starts to adjust again. Robert smothers him and starts working uppercuts through the middle....we see Floyd cracking mentally for the first time in his career.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cotto a sure fire future Hall of Famer? I'm gonna go on a really big limb and say, Yes! When Guerrero says that, he's basically comparing himself to Cotto! If Robert paid attention to the fight Mayweather/Cotto, he would have noticed that one punch landed regularly for Cotto and that was his jab. Beyond that, everything else caught shoulders and elbows. Robert doesn't have the speed of a Cotto, nor the jab. He feels fighting on the inside like he fought Berto will aid him in winning. Well, Mayweather fought Chavez, Corley, Hatton, Cotto, Augustus, and taller, longer Ndou on the inside. What can Guerrero show Mayweather that he hasn't already seen? Maybe he's hyping himself up because of the Berto win, but a boxing mind would have realized that Berto can't fight on the inside and he struggles with southpaws. Point noted, Berto's toughest fights have come from three southpaws starting with Collazo, then Ortiz and then Guerrero. You could argue he lost against Collazo as well and let's not forget the first time Berto was ever knocked down was against Cosme Rivera in the SOUTHPAW stance. He was also knocked down by Carlos Quintana, another southpaw. Starting to see the trend here? Berto is no Mayweather point blank! All the southpaws Mayweather's faced have been quicker, possessed more power and had better boxing skills than that of Guerrero. So I ask again, what can Guerrero show Mayweather that he hasn't already seen? This will be a glorified sparring session with one of three things happening, Mayweather by UD, Mayweather by TKO or Mayweather by KO.
Great post!! Robin Guerrero a$$ is out!

nah.. floyd's punches that matter come from outside ..from the inside floyd is all about scoring points rather than trying to hurt somebody..one hand is always on the defense thats why you barely see him throw combinations...now , if you are active enough form the inside ,whether you connect clean or not , you have the better chance at stealing the round ...

Part of me says Guerrero has a chance, but his Aydin fight kept giving me a negative picture. Guerrero run out of gas in that fight. I was rooting for him and I remember looking at every second of the time hoping the last round ends soon. One more round Aydin would have KOed him. He'd be peppered with Floyd's accurate shots.

                  Mayweather is overhyped

Everybody here knows Guerrero will lose, even though he is brave like all Mexicans. Mayweather agreed to fight him because he is afraid of Martinez, period. He didnīt mind fighting a smaller Marquez, so he could have fought Martinez. Yes, he beat Cotto by points but Martinez would have KOed Cotto.

Wooow, so you admit that Floyd uses his elbows !!! Thatīs illegal, dude. You know it, I know it. Floyd should fight in the octagon since he elbows oponents, and hugs too much. Good luck with that.

Perhaps you are not hyping Guerrero but you seem to be thinking that we all are ..... very few are. There will always be a few and when the opponent has a bigger fan base, more posts would give that impression but that is in a way normal.

You have to go with what Guerrero did at 140 and 147. Two fights equals not much. PEDs free Berto has no defense. Floyd does.

Oh yeah but I see Floyd fans making threads that say otherwise (hyping it)! You know, Guerrero is a young lion ....
