James Toney (Straight up challenged Eubank and Benn on live TV, tv to tv live.) - Shame he let himself go and didn't stick to smaller weightclasses
Miguel Cotto - Look at the resume

        ODLH - Resume

Hoya avoided Forest and Wright..Although he does have a great resume..Cotto as well avoided some fighters in his div..WW he did not fight Berto or Mike Jones(not saying he would have lost)..At JMW he did not fight a bunch of ranked fighters until Trout..Just saying,I would not say he did not avoid fights..

Hard to find other fighters nowadays with resume's with such names as both of them.. so it's as great as it goes in this modern era.

Past: Hagler! I agree with James Toney also, even now James Toney would jump into the ring with anybody even if he might lose

Currently: Andre Ward, Wlad, Chad Dawson (Did not have to go to Canada to fight Pascal and certainly did not have to go down to 168 to fight Ward...But he did!),Abner Mares (most would have avoided Mareno), Carl Froch

Really...Mike Jones and Berto? At what point was he supposed to fight those two losers? I mean Mike Jones...before or after life and death with Soto-Karass?

And Berto...he left that division in 2009, same year Berto was getting mugged by Luis Collazo. GTFO. The hate knows no bounds sometimes.

And he fought Trout, probably one of the most avoided fighters in the JMW, who has every advantage over him...what's the problem?

At WW, looking at the lens of misses, I would have loved Mayweather/Cotto prime for prime, that's it. As for JMW, I have no issues with those not faced, Vanes sucks, Angulo got beat by Cintron and served some bogus time. Kirkland sucks. A Lara fight would have been cool, but I think taking on Trout makes up for that. Personally, I would have loved Cotto/Wolak. It would have been fire for 6-8 rounds
