Yup. Which is why I was so damn surprised that Floyd fans like Burner & Larry & the rest jumped aboard this ole ginger bandwagon. Now everyone is gonna try to blame Floyd for the duck. A whole lotta damage control about to go down.

This is really interesting and if i am Canelo I wouldn't fight on May 4th and fight trout in June. Canelo has nothing to loose, he is 22 and has the Mexican fan support already, it took years for guys like Floyd/Pac to develop into PPV attractions. Canelo can headline a PPV himself and see how well he does and a 250-300k buy is great for him and build on that, better yet he should jump ship to HBO and HBO knows how to build stars and he can be that guy. There are some good fights at 154 for him and if he keeps winning the Mexican fan base will ride with him and he can fight Money in 2 years. I would also think he has already made 5-7 million from his fights/endorsements/etc..

canelo wants a guaranteed fight with mayweather (if both guys win)

QUESTION ONE

what if canelo gets a close life and death SD win against trout? or what if he robs trout all together & canelo is awarded A gift? this is not out of the question in fact i think it's a 60% chance that this could happen.

A fight like that would destroy the marketability for floyd vs canelo. because if gbp knows a guaranteed mayweather bout hangs after trout theres a chance that all canelo would have to do is make it to the final bell & he gets the decision regardless of what happens.


so what if canelo goes life & death with trout or gets a huge gift?

this is why looking ahead of opponents (and signing a guaranteed fight) is always difficult and i think someone in team mayweather understands that.

No fighter should be made to sign a guarantee not especially Mayweather, they should have the Canelo-Trout fight on a separate card and then come together if he gets past Trout in September.

Oh yeah Bush I'm sure Canelo and Schaefer sat down with Floyd. Canelo was probably in tears asking Floyd to take the rap so the fans on the internet won't hate him and call him a duck. I'm sure Floyd also agreed to that because he's such a giving person.
