For me there are fighters who were so overrated they became underrated and vice versa.
Example: Overrated into under rated
Mike Tyson.
Tyson was so overrated that he is now officially underrated. Reading garbage like Wlad or Lennox would have been 'too big' for him and it's easy to 'break him down mentally' is depressing.
Reading trash like 'oh Wlad can just implement his cautious game plan and keep Mike away from the outside'
Underrated to Overrated.
Vitali Klitscko was so underrated and bashed he has now become overrated. He is now spoken of as some h2h monster when in reality he is 1-2 against good fighters. And all 3 of those fighters were 37 years old or older.
Overrated into Underrated
Felix Trinidad was so overrated he too has become under rated now. People talking about him as if he's some come forward puncher that will get absolutely schooled by anybody with boxing skills when in reality the only fights he lost in his prime was against an ATG MW in Hopkins. (Oscar is debatable)
