Who is the better boxer Mathysse or Peterson?

Strange that people seperate Matthysse's power from his boxing ability. I know some power punchers arent great boxers and wind up their shots to get leverage, but a lot of Matthysse's power comes from his positioning, good technique, timing, accuracy etc. All things i would associate with being being a good boxer.

Matthysse edges this I think.

While I think Peterson is the better boxer(by a small margin), great points in this post..

When Peterson beats Lucas the people on this board are gonna cry like *****s. Hope golden boy does random testing to stop atleast some of the excuses. Then the anger will turn to golden boy for not letting Lucas fight Garcia who at this point is not a better fighter than Peterson.

Peterson, but not because he is a great boxer, he has though good fundamentals and is rather well rounded.

Mathysse on the other hand is very basic. He doesn't make many mistakes, but is a limited boxer.

His footwork is accurate, but as said, basic. He has no speed, rarely gives angles, isn't even that good when it comes to cut off the ring.
Even a tired and wobbling Judah could make him look limited in that regard.

Poor ring generalship, rarely dictates the pace of a fight, cannot fight on his backfoot, his accuracy is below average (that is why he is often focusing on the body in my opinion).

His jab is good, I grant him that.

Mathysse has heart, chin, power, stamina, is a fighter, but not a good boxer.
