Is anyone going to point out the insane bravery lee Purdy showed tonight? Had to lose a ton of weight in 4 weeks, heavily drained in weigh in, fighting a guy way better than him, no trainer, getting beat up round after round etc etc etc... And was still gutted to be pulled out. He might not be a very good boxer but the guy has a ton of guts.

Anyway time for the fight of the year

Nothing against Purdy, he did what he could, no gripes at all. I knew what this fight was when it was made, Purdy played his part given the circumstances and Barker did the right thing. This was all just to make Alexander look good heading into his fight with Floyd.
